Nicholas Doy

Nicholas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and has over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, spanning multiple regions and departments. His career began in 2015 as an intern at Chubb Peru, where he quickly advanced to the role of Marine Underwriter. During his time at Chubb, he gained valuable expertise in underwriting and managing risks for Marine business lines.

In 2022, Nicholas relocated to Canada, where he continued to build his career in underwriting. He has held various roles with prominent companies such as Gore Mutual and Intact, further expanding his knowledge and skills in the insurance sector. Most recently, Nicholas was promoted into a leadership position at Excess Underwriting, where he is responsible for overseeing the Commercial Lines and GameDay teams.

Throughout his career, Nicholas has demonstrated a strong ability to manage and underwrite small, medium, and large-sized accounts across Commercial Lines and Marine business lines. His extensive experience and strategic approach to risk management have made him a trusted leader in the industry.
